          Self-Watering Saves You Time

It is often said that overwatering is more harmful to plants than underwatering. Are you someone who tends to overwater your plants? Or perhaps you enjoy going on holiday and don't trust your neighbor to take care of your precious plants?

If so, a self-watering pot could be the perfect solution for you.

The pot has 3 wicking points through which water is drawn into the growing medium. The substrate absorbs only as much water as the plant needs and distributes it throughout the rest of the pot. This keeps the roots in a moist but not waterlogged growing medium.

          Healthy Roots Are the Key

Roots are the most important part of a plant. It is essential that they develop properly and remain healthy. Without healthy roots, you will never have a beautiful and thriving plant.

These pots are designed to help keep the root system in excellent condition. Let's take a closer look at how:

          Can You Check the Roots?

One of the biggest advantages of these pots is that they are transparent. Why is this useful? Simply remove the pot from its outer cover and check the condition of the roots without disturbing the plant.

          Plenty of Air

One of the common mistakes we see discussed in our Facebook group is placing a pot inside an outer cover that is too tight. Roots need not only water and nutrients, but also oxygen to breathe. Without sufficient airflow, roots can begin to rot, and if the problem is not detected and addressed in time, it can seriously damage the plant.

That's why this pot features 4 sets of ventilation slots, providing sufficient airflow to the roots.

          Good Drainage

Another common problem is overwatering. Watering needs to be done carefully – roots should never be left sitting in water. A good pot should therefore provide effective drainage.

The pot has drainage holes at the bottom to ensure proper water drainage. However, if you leave the plant sitting in a whole pond of water, no pot can save it. :)

          Root Growth Without Circling

This is a topic that isn't discussed enough, yet it can be one of the causes of root problems. Never heard of it? Root circling occurs when a pot is too small and the roots have nowhere else to grow. They start growing around the inside of the pot in layers, forming a spiral pattern.

Why is this a problem? Not only can the roots struggle to branch out properly, but nutrients, water, and oxygen also have difficulty reaching the inner layers of the root system.

This pot is specially designed to help prevent root circling. This encourages better root branching and helps the plant absorb more nutrients, water, and oxygen through a healthier and better-developed root system.
